Our WBC Children’s Ministry purpose is to work in partnership with families in encouraging children to grow in their relationship with Jesus. We’ve heard lots of wonderful stories as to how families are nurturing their children’s faith at home, and on Sundays we support that by providing a fun and interactive programme for children helping them know Jesus and grow spiritually as they build meaningful relationships with other children and adults.

First Steps (0–3 year olds)

Location: in the lounge off the foyer

First Steps provides care for our babies & toddlers within a stimulating nurturing environment. There is a range of age appropriate activities set up, and we have a short interactive mat time with songs, rhymes and stories from the Bible, followed by morning tea which is provided. Safety and supervision are a priority, so we have a high child/adult ratio, and children must be signed in and out each week.

PARENTS FACILITIES: a Parents Room is next to the lounge, & a baby change table is located in the disability toilet off the foyer.

JAM kids (3–5 year olds)

Location: Downstairs in the kindy

We provide a safe, fun and caring environment with a variety of activities & direct access to an outside fenced play area. Your children will learn about God through simple bible teaching and songs, and follow up activities. All children must be signed in and out each week.  Morning Tea (cut up fresh fruit) is provided.

Powerzone (5-10 year olds)

Location: Downstairs in the Gold Room

There’s always something creative or fun happening! Our morning includes large group interactive teaching & worship, & small group activities & games. We are moving through the Bible! It’s exciting as God’s big story unfolds and comes to life. Morning Tea is provided. All Year 1&2s must be collected by their parent/care giver at the end of the service.

What should I do if I’m new?
