Missions

Local Impact

Being present in our wider Whangaparaoa community is really important to us and to what it means to follow Jesus. Our mission is to be as involved as we can be, to see people flourish in their God given identity.

We have a Foodbank where we help families with food each week and four community Trusts; Coast Youth Community Trust working in our local college, Coast Families Trust in our primary schools, Shiloh Trust and Coast Kindy a Christian early childhood centre in our WBC building.

Global Impact

At WBC, we are committed to going out into all the world and making disciples of all nations (Matthew 28: 19-20). On the second Sunday of the month, we have a Global Impact focus which includes a mission offering that goes directly to support our people who belong to WBC and are serving overseas.

She leads mission trips to various parts of the world as part of training and sending these world changers to make sure the Gospel is shared.
